About Pawcore
One developer. One rule: your data stays yours.
Pawcore is built and maintained by a single developer who got tired of apps that demand accounts, track everything and refuse to work offline. Below: the story, the principles and how to reach support.
The story
Pawcore began with a simple frustration. Every app for your money and every app for your tasks wanted the same three things: an account, your data in their cloud, and permission to track you. Decline — and the app refuses to work. Accept — and your budget lives on someone else's computer, one expired subscription away from vanishing.
So Pawcore builds the opposite kind of software. Keeper and Tracker are local-first: your data starts on your device, stays there by default, and the apps work with the network off. Cloud sync exists — but as an optional, paid feature you switch on yourself. Never as a condition.
Principles
- Your data is yours — nothing leaves the device unless you ask
- Offline is the normal state, not an emergency mode
- No accounts, no tracking, no advertising
- Open export, always — leaving must be easy
A one-person studio is not an apology — it's the point. No investors to please, no engagement metrics to feed, no feature committees. Just tools that do their job and respect the person using them.
